Technology

Red light therapy panel technology, by the spec sheet.

Red light therapy is an optics and dosing problem. These are the parts of a device that decide what a session actually delivers.

Dual-chip LEDs

Each diode carries both a red and a near-infrared emitter, so the two wavelengths stay spatially mixed instead of striped across the panel.

Optical lenses

30° and 60° lenses concentrate output toward the body instead of the room, which is why measured irradiance stays high at 15–30 cm.

Constant-current drivers

Flicker-free drivers hold output stable through a session, so the dose you calculate is the dose you get.

Pulsing and dimming

0–20 Hz near-infrared pulsing (0–40 Hz on portable and tower models) and 0–100% dimming let intensity match the area and your tolerance.

Thermal design

Larger panels use multiple silent fans; desk and sauna models are fanless aluminium. Cooler LEDs hold rated output across 50,000 hours.

Measured, not estimated

Irradiance figures come from the manufacturer's solar-power-meter measurements at stated distances — never at the glass.

Finned aluminium bodies and silent fans keep diodes cool, which is what protects rated output over a panel's life.

Every irradiance figure we publish is tied to a distance, because irradiance without a distance means nothing.
